Fleet Adult Liquid Glycerin Suppositories, 4-Count Boxes - 7.5 ml (Pack of 3)$21.99 Special Price $17.99
Constipation generally occurs if you have three or fewer bowel movements each week, and your stools are hard, dry, and difficult to pass. In this situation, Fleet Enema can provide help and relief. Fleet Enema is a saline laxative. Saline laxatives work by drawing water into the colon which helps produce a bowel movement. This provides a soft stool mass and increased bowel action. A bowel movement should be stimulated in 1 to 5 minutes, without pain or spasm. Fleet Enema is also ideal for bowel cleansing before undergoing a rectal examination. Plus, it's latex-free.
If you're suffering from occasional constipation, Fleet Liquid Glycerin Suppositories provide fast relief. That's because the suppository is inserted rectally, allowing it to act locally in the colon without having to go through the entire digestive system. Fleet Liquid Glycerin is a hyperosmotic laxative that attracts water into the stool and promotes bowel movement. It provides faster delivery because there's no need to wait for the suppository to melt.

Left-side position: Lie on left side with right knee bent and arms resting comfortably.
Knee-chest position: Kneel, then lower head and chest forward until left side of face is resting on surface with left arm folded comfortably.
Administering the Laxative: Caution: Remove orange protective shield before inserting. Hold unit upright, grasping bulb of unit with fingers. Grasp orange protective shield with other hand, pull gently to remove. With steady pressure, gently insert tip into rectum with a slight side-to-side movement, with tip pointing toward navel. Discontinue use if resistance is encountered. Forcing the tip can result in injury. Insertion may be easier if person receiving suppository bears down, as if in having a bowel movement. This helps relax the muscles around the anus. Squeeze bulb until nearly all liquid is expelled. While continuing to squeeze the bulb, remove tip from rectum and discard unit. It is not necessary to empty unit completely. Unit contains more than the amount of liquid needed for effective use. A small amount of liquid will remain in unit after use.
