Also used by river guides and hard-core whitewater enthusiasts, the Headwater has 25 lbs 5 oz of floatation in a slim comfortable and rugged 500D CORDURA fabric shell, with MTI's Mesh Air Flow system interior for ventilation, and generous reflective panels for high visibility. Adjustable shoulders reinforced with 1.5" wide webbing that extends back to front in a single piece provide the strength agencies require for non-strong-swimmer rescue responders.

A zippered front entry, waist belt, adjustable shoulder straps, mesh sides, and eight points of adjustment provide a comfortable and secure fit. Four waist-mounted D-rings allow attachment of an optional crotch strap. Two generous stretch-mesh pockets, including one with an antenna slip, and two chest-mounted cargo pockets offer storage for necessities and gear.

Two fleece-lined hand-warmer pockets help keep hands and fingers warm in adverse conditions.
