Kaempferol is a natural flavonol, a type of flavonoid, found in a variety of plants and plant-derived foods. Kaempferol is one of three key flavonols found in Ginkgo biloba extracts which are typically standardized to a minimum of 10% Kaempferol out of a total content of a 24% minimum flavonol glycosides.
